Lady Carlyle tea set by the quality English China maker Royal Albert. This elegant set has 6 Malvern shape teacups and 6 saucers, 6 tea plates, a cake serving plate, an open sugar bowl and a ½pt milk jug all in the Lady Carlyle pattern. 
Lady Carlyle is a classic example of the romantic floral tradition of Royal Albert. This intricate pattern features a deep pink border complemented by a highly stylised floral design integrating posies, roses, bluebells, and forget-me-not’s. Elaborate gold scrolls recall the curvaceous and extravagant rococo styles of the 18th century. 
This fine bone china set has the factory back stamps used during the 1940s. All pieces are first quality. 
Lovely condition, very little wear if any.
